Terms of Use
By using the AutoLine mobile application, the autoline.ltd website, and related AutoLine services, you confirm that you have read these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them.
1. Purpose of the Service
AutoLine is a software tool for recording and organizing information about the user’s vehicle.
AutoLine allows users to:
- keep records of vehicles;
- save maintenance and repair history;
- create tasks and reminders;
- store information about service stations and service providers;
- create reports and backups of data;
- synchronize data between the user’s Apple devices through Apple iCloud and CloudKit.
AutoLine is not a service station, repair shop, dealer, insurance company, financial institution, or provider of repair services.
2. Use of the Application
The user independently decides to use AutoLine and is responsible for the accuracy of the data entered into the app.
The user agrees to:
- use the application in accordance with the laws of their country;
- not use the application for unlawful activity;
- not attempt to disrupt the operation of the application, website, backend, backup systems, synchronization systems, or related services;
- not attempt to gain unauthorized access to data of other users;
- not misuse backup, synchronization, support, or diagnostic features.
3. User Data
All information about vehicles, mileage, maintenance, service stations, notes, photos, and other data is entered by the user independently.
AutoLine does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of such information and does not guarantee its correctness.
The user is fully responsible for the accuracy of the data entered and for decisions made based on that data.
4. Reminders and Vehicle Maintenance
Task and reminder features are provided for informational purposes only.
AutoLine does not guarantee timely delivery of notifications to the user’s device, because notifications depend on device settings, OS settings, Apple services, internet connection, background execution limits, notification permissions, and the technical condition of the device.
The user is responsible for monitoring the technical condition of the vehicle, maintenance intervals, mileage, time-based service requirements, and completion of necessary work.
AutoLine is not responsible for missed maintenance deadlines, repairs, replacement of consumable parts, vehicle breakdowns, losses, damages, or consequences caused by relying on reminders or user-entered data.
5. iCloud Synchronization
AutoLine uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize data between the user’s Apple devices.
Synchronization may require an active Apple ID, enabled iCloud, sufficient iCloud storage, internet access, compatible OS versions, and access to Apple services.
Apple services are outside AutoLine’s control. AutoLine is not responsible for failures, limitations, delays, data conflicts, synchronization errors, loss of availability, or unavailability of Apple iCloud, CloudKit, Apple ID, or other Apple services.
The user is responsible for maintaining access to their Apple ID, iCloud account, device passcode, and Apple account security.
6. Backups
AutoLine may create technical backup copies of data on AutoLine infrastructure.
These backups are used as an additional protective layer for service stability, emergency data recovery, and user support.
7. Diagnostics
To improve application quality and stability, AutoLine may use Firebase Crashlytics.
Firebase Crashlytics may be used to detect crashes, diagnose technical issues, analyze app stability, and improve reliability.
Crash reports may include technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic identifiers, and other technical data related to app stability.
AutoLine does not use Firebase Analytics in the initial release.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights to the AutoLine application, including software code, interface, design, logos, graphic elements, documentation, website materials, texts, and other materials, belong to AutoLine or are used lawfully.
Copying the application, decompilation, reverse engineering, unauthorized distribution of source code, unauthorized reproduction of design elements, and creation of derivative products without written permission of the rights holder are prohibited, except where such restrictions are not permitted by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
AutoLine is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoLine is not responsible for user errors, incorrect user-entered data, data loss, data corruption, missed notifications, incorrect calculations due to incorrectly entered data, missed vehicle maintenance, vehicle breakdowns, user losses, loss of profit, consequences of decisions made by the user, failures of Apple services, failures of third-party services, or temporary unavailability of the application, website, backup systems, synchronization systems, or related services.
The user uses the application at their own risk.
10. Service Availability
AutoLine aims to provide stable operation of the application and related services, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service, absence of errors, absence of technical interruptions, or availability of all features at any time.
Application functionality may be changed, updated, limited, suspended, or removed without prior notice, where permitted by law.
11. Termination of Use
The user may stop using the application at any time.
AutoLine may restrict or terminate access to the service in case of violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the service, attempted unauthorized access, abuse of backup or support systems, or actions that threaten the security, stability, or availability of the service or other users.
12. Changes to These Terms
AutoLine may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
The current version of the Terms is published on the official AutoLine website.
Continued use of the application after publication of the updated version means that the user agrees to the new terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law to the extent permitted by the user’s jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of the service provider.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.
