Terms of Use

By using the AutoLine mobile application, the autoline.ltd website, and related AutoLine services, you confirm that you have read these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them.

1. Purpose of the Service

AutoLine is a software tool designed to help users record, organize, and manage information related to their vehicles.

AutoLine allows users to:

manage information about their vehicles;
maintain service and repair history;
create maintenance tasks and reminders;
store information about service centers and automotive service providers;
create reports;
synchronize data between devices.

On iPhone and iPad, data synchronization may be performed using Apple iCloud and CloudKit.

On Android, data synchronization may be performed through AutoLine's secure server infrastructure after signing in to an AutoLine account.

AutoLine is not a vehicle service center, repair shop, dealership, insurance company, financial institution, or provider of vehicle repair or maintenance services.

2. Use of the Application

The user independently decides how to use AutoLine and is responsible for the accuracy of the information entered into the application.

The user agrees to:

use the application in accordance with applicable law;
not use the application for unlawful activities;
not attempt to disrupt the operation of the application, website, synchronization systems, server infrastructure, or related services;
not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the data, accounts, or devices of other users;
not interfere with security, synchronization, support, or diagnostic systems;
not use the service in any manner that could compromise its security, stability, or availability for other users.

3. User Data

Information about vehicles, mileage, maintenance, service centers, notes, photographs, and other data is added by the user.

AutoLine does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of such information and does not guarantee that it is correct.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information entered and for decisions made on the basis of that information.

The processing, storage, and synchronization of user data are carried out in accordance with the AutoLine Privacy Policy and applicable law.

4. Reminders and Vehicle Maintenance

Maintenance tasks, maintenance interval calculations, and reminder features are provided solely for informational and organizational purposes.

AutoLine does not replace professional diagnostics, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, or advice from a qualified automotive maintenance professional.

AutoLine does not guarantee the timely delivery of notifications to the user's device. Notification delivery may depend on device and operating system settings, Apple or Android system services, internet connectivity, notification permissions, battery-saving modes, background activity restrictions, and other factors outside AutoLine's control.

The user is solely responsible for monitoring the technical condition of their vehicle, mileage, maintenance intervals and schedules, and for ensuring that necessary maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AutoLine is not liable for the consequences of missed or delayed maintenance, repairs, or replacement of consumable parts where such consequences result from inaccurate user-provided data, missed notifications, or decisions made by the user based on information provided by the application.

5. Data Synchronization

iPhone and iPad

AutoLine uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize data between the user's supported Apple devices.

Synchronization may require the use of the same Apple ID on the relevant devices, iCloud to be enabled, sufficient available iCloud storage, an internet connection, a compatible version of the operating system, and access to the relevant Apple services.

Apple services are outside AutoLine's control. AutoLine cannot guarantee the continuous availability of iCloud, CloudKit, Apple ID, or other Apple services and is not responsible for their failures, limitations, or unavailability to the extent that such circumstances are outside AutoLine's control.

The user is responsible for maintaining access to their Apple ID and iCloud account and for the security of their Apple account.

Android

On Android, AutoLine data may be stored locally on the device and synchronized through AutoLine's secure server infrastructure.

Synchronization may require signing in to an AutoLine account, an internet connection, a compatible version of Android, and the absence of system restrictions that prevent the application from operating or transmitting data.

Synchronization may depend on Android settings, battery-saving modes, background activity and data transfer restrictions, internet connectivity, and the availability of AutoLine services.

AutoLine takes reasonable technical measures to maintain the operation of its server infrastructure but does not guarantee absolute continuity or error-free synchronization.

6. Diagnostics and Technical Data

To help ensure application stability, diagnose crashes, and improve application quality, AutoLine may use technical and diagnostic services, including Firebase Crashlytics.

Diagnostic data may include the device model, operating system version, application version, crash information, diagnostic identifiers, and other technical information necessary to identify and resolve technical issues.

Such data is processed in accordance with the AutoLine Privacy Policy and applicable law.

7. Paid Features, Subscriptions, and Lifetime

AutoLine may offer paid features through subscriptions or one-time purchases.

Available options may include a monthly subscription (Monthly), an annual subscription (Yearly), and a one-time Lifetime purchase.

Monthly and annual subscriptions provide access to the applicable paid AutoLine features for the paid subscription period and may automatically renew unless automatic renewal is disabled by the user in accordance with the rules of the applicable app store.

Lifetime is a one-time purchase that provides the user with indefinite access to the AutoLine features included in the applicable plan without the need to pay a recurring subscription fee.

Lifetime access is provided for as long as the applicable product exists and remains supported, subject to technical and legal limitations that may apply to the service. Lifetime does not constitute an obligation for the developer to maintain, update, support, or ensure the operation of AutoLine indefinitely after the applicable product has been discontinued or is no longer supported.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.

Purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google and are also subject to Google's applicable terms and conditions.

Subscription management, cancellation, automatic renewal, and refunds are governed by the rules of the applicable app store and applicable law.

Deleting the application from a device does not, by itself, cancel an active subscription. The user must cancel the subscription through the applicable app store.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the AutoLine application, including its source code, interface, design, logos, graphical elements, documentation, website materials, text, and other materials, belong to the developer of AutoLine or are lawfully used by the developer.

Copying the application, decompiling, reverse engineering, unauthorized distribution of source code, unauthorized reproduction of design elements, and creation of derivative works without the permission of the rights holder are prohibited, except where such restrictions are not permitted by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

AutoLine is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AutoLine does not guarantee that the application will be completely error-free, that all features will operate without interruption, that third-party services will always be available, or that technical failures will not occur.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of AutoLine is not liable for consequences arising from:

inaccurate or incomplete information entered by the user;
decisions made by the user based on such information;
missed or delayed notifications;
incorrect calculations resulting from inaccurate input data;
missed or delayed vehicle maintenance;
failures or unavailability of Apple iCloud, CloudKit, Apple ID, Google Play, the App Store, or other third-party services;
limitations imposed by the operating system or device;
temporary unavailability of the application, website, synchronization systems, or related services due to technical circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights of the user or liability of the developer where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

The user independently makes decisions based on information stored or displayed in the application, subject to the limitations set out in these Terms and applicable law.

10. Availability and Changes to the Service

AutoLine aims to provide stable operation of the application and related services but does not guarantee uninterrupted service, the absence of errors or technical interruptions, or the availability of all features at all times.

AutoLine features may be modified, updated, or expanded as the product develops.

Individual features may also be restricted, suspended, or discontinued for technical, legal, or operational reasons, or due to the discontinuation of support for the applicable product, in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to the service do not affect any mandatory rights granted to the user under applicable law or the terms of a completed purchase.

11. Termination of Use and Account Deletion

The user may stop using AutoLine at any time.

If the user has created an AutoLine account, the user may delete it using the account deletion functionality provided within the application, where such functionality is available for the applicable platform.

AutoLine may restrict or terminate a user's access to its server-based services in the event of a violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the service, attempted unauthorized access, interference with security systems, or actions that threaten the security, stability, or availability of the service or the data of other users.

Such measures will be applied in accordance with applicable law and the nature of the violation.

12. Age and Legal Capacity

By using AutoLine and accepting these Terms, the user confirms that they have the legal capacity required to enter into this agreement under the laws applicable in their country.

If the user has not reached the age at which they may independently accept these Terms or make purchases, the relevant features must be used with the consent of a parent, legal guardian, or other person whose consent is required under applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

AutoLine may periodically update these Terms of Use, including in connection with the development of the application, the introduction of new features, changes to technical infrastructure, or changes in legal requirements.

The current version of these Terms of Use is available directly within the AutoLine application.

If changes materially affect the user's rights or obligations, AutoLine may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.

Continued use of AutoLine after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent that such method of acceptance is permitted by applicable law.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms apply subject to the laws governing the relationship between the user and the service provider.

Nothing in these Terms deprives the user of any mandatory rights or legal remedies provided by the laws of the country or region in which the user resides where such rights cannot be limited by agreement.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
